From those who want to pay less taxes to those who have to make a merger or open a tax office in another country, to those who have to decide whether or not to make an investment. One company has many offices in different places that struggle to communicate with each other, generating inefficiencies, and another still fails to make its customers habitual. These companies do not have the necessary skills in-house to deal with the situation, they don't have the time to do it or they don't even know what the problem is. So they can contact us: people outside the company who identify the problem as a profession, provide opinions and analyzes on how to solve it, in the most objective way possible and consequently - when everything goes as it should go - we suggest resolution.
The consultant's areas of intervention can be ordinary or extraordinary, and are in any case very different from each other, as are the problems. Simplifying, there are four types of consultancy: strategic consultancy, operational consultancy, IT (Information Technology) consultancy and finally financial consultancy. We have expert consultants in each of these areas.
Operational consultancy, on the other hand, has the objective of verifying whether the objectives of a company have been achieved and of finding strategies to improve their efficiency. In this case, the consultant examines the activities at various levels, analyzes where the resources are placed, checks the times, the relationships with the customers, and so on: identifies the critical issues and suggests solutions to overcome them.
Consultancy in the Information Technology field, on the other hand, assists the company in evaluating technological strategies, with the aim of aligning the technology used with the business process, and improving it. There are also operational IT consultants who physically perform the tasks. An example: when you buy a company, after the consultants already possibly consulted to make that acquisition, it is necessary to integrate the new company and there are a whole series of things to fix, starting with the different software used.
Finally, financial advice is perhaps the one that has developed the most in recent years. There are mainly three types: “risk management” measures and manages risks; corporate finance helps the client to manage capital correctly or evaluate investments; and corporate restructuring serves, in fact, for the restructuring of a company's strategies and various activities.
The various consulting firms apply an average price per day of 780 euros on average. The gap is usually high in the average rates of the different size classes of consulting firms: the big ones sell their services on average at 70 per cent more than the micro: 905 euros per day against 538 euros.
